WE ADMIT IT: WE ARE A MATERIAL COMPANY.

In order to be successful as an environmental services provider – not just in terms of business, but also for the benefit of nature and future generations – it is important to have a clear list of priorities. Ours will be described in the following.

Whenever it is possible, we aim at the material recovery of waste, or rather of its recyclable substances. In the overview below you can se what materials exactly we are talking about. In the sustainable resource circle, these are first collected. Either they are already in a pre-sorted state, or this happens in the next step, at one of our special sorting facilities. After this comes the processing stage, in which the starting materials are transformed into new target materials which then can be offered for sale on the market again. This is the best-case scenario.

If a material recovery is not possible – for example, because the sorting wouldn’t make sense or the waste is too soiled, there is still an interesting alternative to a mere disposal. Because, to a large extent, these materials can be converted into refuse-derived fuels and thus be used for the production of energy.   Only when the first two options are not available, we resort to the third way: the safe disposal of the substances in question.
